The bronze final match was between Adler Rauxel of Germany and Orel STU from Russia.  The game started fairly evenly and at the end of the first quarter the teams were level at 3-3.  The defence was very strong from both sides and the teams went in at half time 4-4.  The first yellow card of the tournament came five minutes into the second half with it being shown to Henning Schmidt of Adler Rauxel.  Goals continued to be traded between the sides and the largest margin was with 11 minutes to go when Orel STU found themselves 12-8 ahead.  Adler Rauxel then made a substitution with 8 minutes to go and straight after the re-start earned themselves a penalty.  A time out was then called which seemed to inspire Adler Rauxel as they scored two goals without reply taking the score to 12-11 in favour of Orel STU, with the 5 minutes of real play remaining.  Despite Orel STU also calling a time out, Adler Rauxel then scored a long shot to take the game level at 12-12.  Golden Goal looming, Adler Rauxel earned themselves a penalty with 12 seconds on the clock.  Substitute Johannes Langer slotted home to take the score 13-12 in favour of Adler Rauxel. Unfortunately, there was not enough time for Orel STU to find the equalizer and so the celebrations began as Adler Rauxel finished the game winning 13-12 and taking the bronze medal.
