The China National korfball tournament was held in Tianjin between the10th and 15th December.
Ten teams competed from seven different provinces and it was very pleasing to see such widespread participation in this newly established korfball country.
Attending the tournament were teams from Chongqing, Henan, Guangdong, Zhejiang, Tianjin, Inner Mongolia and also from Shanghai.

A short opening ceremony was held on the 11th December in Tianjin University of Science and Technology and Mr.Gongye Min attended.
After the opening ceremony, a keenly contested korfball match between Tianjin University of Science and Technology and Southwest University was played and the crowd were treated to an exciting and closely contested match.
Finally, Tianjin University of Technology won the match with a score of 14 to 9.

In this tournament female referee Ms.Pengling officiated in several matches and performed her refereeing tasks very well.
