The event was held in Rokugo town, Akita prefecture, Japan from August 2 to 7, 2003. Aspal Gymnasium, korfball competition venue of 2001 World Games, was used for the course and trainings.
The instructors of courses and training assistance for the preparation of the Japan national team to participate in World Championship 2003 were Inglish Y.C. Huang and Bird F.Y. Hsieh. They were pleased with players' performances progressed significantly day by day. The participants were very ambitious and all the candidates completed the strict tasks and got the AOKF certificates of participation," said Inglish Y.C.
Asian-Oceanian Korfball Federation (AOKF) is willing to hold this event not only in Akita but also in other cities and prefectures in the future. Inglish Y.C. will continue supporting Japan Team to achieve the desirable outcome of World Championship 2003.
